Cleanmymacx on Apple M1 pro

Dear community,

Is it safe to use cleanmymacx on Apple Macbook Pro M1 for clean system of unnecessary data ? If not, can you suggest an alternative for it, maybe ccleaner? I use MacOS Sonoma as operating system.

Sincerely yours,

Claudiu Alex

CleanMyMac is indistinguishable from malware. It can not even remove itself properly.

There is no Automated way to reduce the number of files on your Mac.

You can use this article to try to find the BIGGEST files. Eliminating one or two of the biggest counts for more space recovered than Dozens of ordinary-sized files.
