My iphone 11 isn't connecting properly to my 2020 subaru outback. When a call is coming in it pops up on the screen, but when I answer it won't come through on the car I have to transfer the call to speaker or iphone. I've tried turning bluetooth off and on I've tried forget this device. Turned off my iphone and turned it back on. Not sure what to do, any suggestions would be appreciated

The best way to get around this problem is to use Apple CarPlay instead of the Bluetooth connection to your 2020 Subaru. To use CarPlay you need to plug your iPhone into the right USB port in the little cubby in front of the shift lever. I use CarPlay in my 2020 Subaru Outback Limited and can verbally replay to texts and talk on the iPhone during phone calls. CarPlay will automatically use the vehicle's speakers and microphone to conduct the phone. Siri will speak texts and translate your replies.

Do you mean do I accept the call on the car's controls? Then yes I do accept on the car's controls, but I can only hear the call on my iphone not through the speaker.
