Unable to connect MacBook Pro to wi-fi

This is the 2nd time this happened. Once about two weeks ago & then today.

I use AT&T for wi-fi.

My iPhone connects to wi-fi just fine.

How do I tell if the connectivity problem is with AT&T or my MacBook Pro?

MacBook Pro - early 2015

Some time when it is working, you hold the Option key and click on the Wi-Fi icon on the menubar. you get a snapshot of current operating parameters like this one. Screenshot, photograph, or transcribe the values shown and Readers can see what your network is doing and start to rule some things in or out as appropriate.
