Need to list an app in the Security & Privacy Settings in MacOS

I have downloaded an app EOSUtility from Canon website. But it is not getting listed in the 'Security & Privacy' setting of System Preferences in MacOS.

I am on MacbookAir with M1 chip having MacOS BigSur(11.5).

This app EOSUtility has been downloaded directly from internet.

Kindly help.

It would not automatically appear in 'Security & Privacy.' I suppose you are trying to give the EOSUtility Full Disk Access; if that's the case, navigate to Full Disk Access, then click the "+' button to add it to the list. That said, I have not ever seen these type of camera/scanner utilities even needing Full Disk Access in the first place.

What in that application is not working?

Where in System Preferences do you expect it to appear?

And, by the way, with any Apple Silicon Mac, why would you want to stay with such an outdated version of macOS?

The current version is macOS Sonoma, 14.5, and soon we will have macOS 15...
