Adding Ring Widget to Lock Screen.

I have a ring video doorbell and have managed to get both the app and widget onto my home screens. The widget will only be useful on the Lock Screen but I cannot make it appear in the choices for the Lock Screen gallery, despite other irrelevant widgets being there.

I’m on an iPhone SE running IOS 17.5.1
