Safari 17.5 will not sign on onto the internet (Optimum.net)

Since Friday, 6/14/24, I have not been able to sign on to the internet (Optimum.net). I reached out to Optimum was advised to sign on using Google Chrome, an app I am not familiar using - they suggested Safari was an unstable app. I have never had an issue with Safari prior to this present issue. I have been searching for the Safari app to reinstall to see if it would resolve my issue but have not been able to find the app. This is related to my MacPro 2022.
