Apple books text selection lag

Text selection in apple books lag for about 10 seconds or more especially in the last pages of big pdf files (2000 pages) ,, but in the first pages it works fine.

Actually the lag increases gradually whenever I go forward in the pdf file !!

Um using Iphone 15 pro max - ios 17.5.1 (last update)

Any help to solve it 😔
