Why does my Apple Music Web Player login fail on Chrome?

When I log into my apple ID on the apple web player, it doesn't log me in and it doesn't give me a reason why. I type in the correct email and password and click sign in, then the login popup just goes away. It says I'm not signed in and it doesn't show any of my playlists or anything. It also doesn't let me switch to the home tab, it just tells me an error occurred. The browser I use is chrome. If anyone can help me I'd be very grateful.
