I believe the one issue with Brother is that you have to use their ink so costs are higher than others like Canon, etc. where generic ink can be used. My Canon 8600 series works great.

I currently have an HP 283cdw. It goes off the air often and sometimes takes 1/2 hour to get it all together to print a page. Support from HP is not very good. They ask for money up front.
