Apple Watch seems to turn itself on?

I am a NOT heavy “ user” of my Apple Watch (have had 3, SE - 1, SE -2, and now brand new 13. I am massively into sparing the battery, and so turn the watch fully off early in the evening, and then turn it back on mid-morning. When this works, 95% of the time, gives me HUGE “savings” on the battery to the point where I can close to 3 days between battery recharge.

Just like the iPhone, given not great battery life between recharges, am committed to continuing this. I even started using shortcuts on my iphones to switch the phone into “ airplane mode” since noticed even with background updates turned off, typically saw as much as a 10% drain, which Apple reps said was “ pretty typical due to ll the things the phone does while not actively being used…

As far as I am aware, the more I charge, the more charging cycles, the worse the battery gets...have proven this with iPhones and iPads...AND, if I do NOT charge every night, the battery drain is immense for a device that is doing NOTHING but keeping time. I prefer to NOT constantly charge, and ANY device turned off should STAY turned off...period.
