Random 1 letter text messages

Continuing to struggle with random text messages from both iPhone and android phones. Randomly I receive text messages with the first letter of the message and the rest of the message does not populate. Sometimes I can close the text message and go back in and it will populate. Tonight it would not. I have reset my phone, network was reset, cleared the phone and reloaded from iCloud and now verizon has sent me a replacement iPhone and the same problem is occurring. I have shut off most notifications and tried to disable things in the setting so my iPhone remains basic, but it occurs either way. I have an iPhone 14+ is anyone experiencing this problem? Apple directed me to my verizon carrier and remedies from verizon has not worked. Tomorrow I have to call them again. ugh!
