iPad Mail Duplicates in Sent Folder

I use the Mail app on my iPad. Also connected this app to my Hotmail mail account. When I send a message I see two copies in my sent folder. When I search for help on correcting this, I see old fixes about unchecking ‘store sent emails on server’.

I need current instructions on how to go about fixing this. Thx

Mail move to folder suggestions stopped after ios 17 update Mail stopped automatically making folder suggestions when I am moving email. This happened after updating to iOS 17 on my iPhone 13.
