It seems the instructions you were given to enable explicit content on Apple Music are outdated or incorrect. Here are the proper steps:

## Enable Explicit Content on iPhone/iPad

1. Open the Settings app

2. Tap Screen Time

3. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions

4. Turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions

5. Tap Content Restrictions

6. Tap Music, Podcasts & News

7. Select Explicit to allow explicit content

## Enable Explicit Content on Mac

1. Open the Music app

2. Click Music > Preferences from the menu bar

3. Click the Restrictions tab

4. Uncheck the box next to "Music with explicit content"

The "Restrictions" section no longer exists under the General settings on modern iOS/iPadOS versions. The option to allow explicit content is now under Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.

If you still can't access explicit content after following these steps, ensure you are not restricting it through Family Sharing or MDM/Parental Controls set by an organization. You may need to disable any active restrictions first.

None of these options work for my iPhone/iPad or MacBook. iPhone and iPad are on version 17.5.1, and the MacBook is on Sonoma 14.5

On iPhone/iPad, I get to step 4 and can't hit step 5 because there is no "content restrictions" within the "Content & Privacy Restrictions" area.

On the MacBook, I can't even do step 2 because there is no "Preferences" to select under the "MUSIC" tab. There is a "Settings" under the "MUSIC" tab, but clicking on that does not reveal anything that refers to a "Restrictions" tab/area.

Please update this solution. Thank you.
