Apple books reading now page disapeared

Last night I was on the Apple Books app reading and tried to go to the Reading now page only to find that the tab had disappeared. That reading now tab was the first tab where you would find the books ads, your reading streak, time for reading goal, and the continue reading. That tab has completely disappeared. Now I only have 4 tabs, the first one being library( should be 5). I've restarted the phone and checked the App Store for an update. Any help/ suggestions??

There are some other posts on this, sandrinen67, but at least we're not alone! However, I did see, after my initial post here, that I got a notification on my iPhone last night (for some reason, this never syncs to my iPad or my Mac, sigh, despite being on the same Apple ID) that I met my Reading Goals despite the Home tab not being there. With luck, whenever this is fixed, our streaks remain intact!
