Iphone 15 issue with RAV4 hybrid 2023 & 2024 model.

i cannot get my car play to work correctly I state "Siri text message XXX", all is states is "what do" and goes blank, then when you state the message to send it will not review or send. HELP!

Car Play and Siri not functioning properly When phone hooked up to Apple Car Play in my 2024 Honda Ridgeline, recently it has been malfunctioning. You can ask Siri a question or ask for directions and Siri will say “Sorry, something’s wrong”. Then it will say “there is nothing to repeat”. I have rebooted my phone and it will work for a bit, I have rebooted the infotainment system and it will work for a bit, I have completely went back to factory settings including have phone forget car play etc and it will work for a bit, but everything I have tried is only a temporary fix. Nothing seems to work. Not sure if it is a Honda infotainment issue or an Apple issue. My phone has no issues with Siri at all when not synced with Car Play. Any ideas?

Why won’t Siri send text messages while I’m driving with CarPlay? Hi Community, I wonder if someone could answer what might be a silly question? Why won't Siri send a text message when I'm driving? I have just upgraded to an iPhone16 Pro Max (lovely device). Paired it to my car this morning, no issues. Driving to work I did what I normally do and say "hi Siri", message (wifes name).. (defaults to text message) Siri then asks, what would you to say? I then speak the message, Siri repeats and then shows sending on my Apple Car Play screen... then.. it says can't send whilst driving. I have never had this before, my previous iPhone 13 send messages no problem... is this a new feature Apple have introduced? any thoughts [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Try: “Hey Siri” []… “Text «unique contact name»” …[What do you want to say?]… “«Some message»” …[«transcription» Send it?]… “Yes” …[Done]…
Check if mic input is configured as intended. Sound input (your voice) might be configured for the iPhone’s built-in mic, or from an external mic in the car.
Verify that cellular service is working as expected from within the car at that specific location.
