Does my iPhone have Nickel in it?

I have a known nickel allergy. I am experiencing difficulties with my iPhone, MacBook Air and Desktop. Is there Nickel in these appliances and have others had a reaction - primarily tingling and numbness in my hand. I have resorted to wearing gloves!!

Thank you!

Honestly, that doesn't sound like a nickel allergy. I'd suggest you contact your doctor.

Various Apple devices use anodized aluminum or titanium and other metals in their construction. Although I am unaware of nickel being used it's certainly possible.

A known sensitivity to nickel is very likely to be associated with sensitivities to other metals including silver for example. The answer doesn't really matter because it's not as though we can change anything about Apple's choices in case materials.

After considering what IdrisSeabright wrote consider sensitivity to EMF radiation also. It's rare (very rare) and practically impossible to quantify or diagnose, but it exists, and the fact that it's rare doesn't matter if you're the one being affected by it.

In other words even though you have a documented sensitivity to nickel, the numbness or tingling you describe might not be strictly caused by it or metals in general. There are products designed to mitigate the effects of consumer product EMF sensitivity but I would not begin to attempt to suggest anything because the field (pardon the pun) is ripe for scam products and services.
