Why does zooming in on my camera make my photos grainy?

I have an iPhone11, which I got a little over 3 years ago. Since I got it, any photo I have taken above 1x zoom is so grainy. Even when there is natural light, the photo is extremely grainy. Has anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it? As a photographer it’s really frustrating when I can’t use my iPhone when my other camera dies😭

About Graining Photos:

Pixelization isn't all that great on an iPhone. Digital cameras are what you need to use, to meet your expectations.
