I am unable to find Taiwan Flags on iPhone?

This applies to all Apple devices that you can type with. I know this isn't

a big deal, but why doesn't my iPhone and iPad have the Taiwan flag? I bought the phone and iPad in China Mainland but by region is set to the US. Also, I am not in China. Why can't I find the flag?
