Gmail on AppleMail not syncing with AppleMail on other devices

HI there,

I have recently changed my non-work email to a gmail account and have imported all the emails.

I have had huge issues with large amounts of emails not being transferred. I got round this by exporting and importing the mailboxes and moving messages around. It has taken weeks.

My problem now is that the AppleMail on my laptop is not showing the same emails and folders as my internet Gmail account, iPhone or my iPad. I have signed in and out, I have made sure the Gmail settings are set to imap. I have changed push notifications and archive folders.

I am running out of time to get this sorted, as my old email account is going to be deleted soon.
