Apple Camera Usability Issues

Apple’s camera app needs a lot of improvements. I lose so many shots because of it too easily shifting modes. Has anyone found a better app that will maintain its mode settings without changing due to a lite touch?

I’ve also had problems with the camera losing its ability to focus when creating long videos. I have to reboot my phone to get autofocus to work again. It’s maddening.

The good news is iOS 18 will let you replace the camera app on the Lock Screen.
