while using iMovie, there is a automatic linkage of audio file and the media file (image/video) above that. if I move that image/video, the audio also moves. if I deletes it, audio also deletes.
how to stop this

Put your cursor on the audio track and, while pressing down, pull the audio track straight down to a lower audio well until the coupling that attaches it to the video pulls off. Then the video and audio can be moved independently.
