Photos uploaded to Facebook without captions

I have detailed captions on photos I took with an iPhone 15 pro max, but they do not show up when emailed or posted to different sites. I have seen similar problems voiced here but not a solution. My primary interest is photography, and I’m now questioning my recent decision to migrate across the board to Apple products.
