watergeek ~ Custom shortcuts can offer several ways to display a photo of your medical implant card. The example below is a simple shortcut that presents a pre-configured menu of photos to choose from:

• The photos are assumed to be already in the Photos app.
• To set up the file name of a photo in Shortcuts, reveal its name by swiping down on the photo in the Photos app.
• The photos could alternatively be stored in iCloud Drive and the shortcut modified to obtain them from there.
• An icon to run the shortcut can be placed on the Home screen.
• Or a shortcut(s) can be placed in a widget – which can be vertically scrolled.

My wife has a card too. What I did is shot a photo of it and then copied and pasted it into a note. The note is pinned to the top of the notes. You can add additional photos or pin other important documents to the top of notes.

Apple Wallet is a secure place to store many types of identification for easy access, convenience etc. Many items that people want to add to Apple Wallet are of a personal and confidential nature. The card issuer and Apple have security procedures in place to help protect your privacy and prevent fraud etc. This requires the issuer of the card, pass ticket etc. to create an app or secure website that will add the app to Apple Wallet. this helps keep your personal information private prevent fraudulent use or access.
