I’m trying to clean up & organize my photos into albums. Why does it keep the photo in the album it’s currently in after I’ve added it to my new album? Also if I delete it from its old album/location, it deletes it the photo from BOTH. Oh, this is the iPhone 15 Pro. But it did this with my last iPhone too.
Because those aren't the actual photos in the albums, they are just shortcuts to the original photos. So yes, you can have shortcuts in multiple albums without actually using up storage space. If you delete the original photo, then the shortcuts have nothing to point to.
