Moving the Library file for iTunes

I want to change the location of the Library("Music Library") file for iTunes on Mac. Can't find a menu item for that.

Drag it to the desired location in the Finder, launch iTunes with the Option key held down, and choose that library.

Stream from Apple music rather than local library I just got a new Mac and signed into Apple Music, which I have been using since it first came out. My iTunes library was on an external hard drive and I haven't used it on my previous computer for years because it always streamed from Apple Music. Now when I go to play a song, it says that it can't locate the file. So I have to go to the 3 dot button and open the album in Apple Music in order to play it rather than it defaulting to streaming it like it had on my previous machine. Is there a way to correct this without deleting and re-adding every album all over again?

Recent Additions not in Library after moving back from Apple Music to iTunes After years of using iTunes, I tried switching to Apple Music about a month ago. It just wasn't for me, so I have reverted to iTunes. I didn't have a subscription, I just used AM for listening to my music library (all files stored locally on my PC). During my time using Apple Music, I added some music to my library (CD rips and MP3s, not Apple purchases). Now that I've reverted to iTunes, my library is at the same point it was when I first made the switch (ie the last month of additions are not there). Is there any way I can add the additions I made while using Apple Music, or will I need to just manually identify and add these all over again? I am using ITunes 12.13.7.1 on Windows 10 if that helps

That's easy enough - thanks. In the older days, when the app was still called iTunes, before the introduction of confusion with the naming of a SERVICE Apple Music AND the renaming of iTunes to Music - a real coup of branding ambiguity, there was a menu item to indicate where this file was to be found..
