safari cache files are going to trash

safari cache files are going to trash

When I use safari, the cache files are going straight to trash instead of the cache directory. I tried removing the directory and then rebooting. I also get a scriptmonitor error so Im wondering if it related. I am running Safari in developer mode.

I'm not sure what "developer mode" is. Are you referring to Safari's Experimental Features? Are you using Safari Technology Preview?

Thanks. That is not any particular mode of operation, selecting that box enables the Develop menu.

Either examine each one of those experimental features, or reset them to defaults.
