For Buy shows from the Store: Depending on the title and your own country or region, that may or may not be possible. Some countries have multiple language editions of TV show content, which has to be decided on at checkout. You wouldn’t be able to change the language afterwards, as each edition is a different Store item. In countries where English is not the main language, then an English language track may not always be available.

For Apple TV+ shows, almost all shows have multiple language tracks for which you can switch between. A few Apple TV+ shows use the English language track for multi-language dialog. For the latter situation, the French parts are not switchable to English. Then use subtitles instead.
