I have a walking pad controlled by KS Fit app. The KS Fit app adds the workouts to Apple Fitness app. The total distance reports by the workouts from KS Fit app does not match the distance in the fitness app. I have added screen shots for clarity. Why is that and is there something I need to do to fix this?

And remember, that without the GPS signal, you will have to make sure that your arms are swinging as if you would be waling outside. Only the acceleration sensor of the watch can measure indoor distance while walking or running.
Did you check, if the Health App also imported the data correctly?
Open the Health App on the iPhone, tap on "Browse" down in the right corner, then on Activity/Running & Walking.

if the external app is writing all the data, why doesn’t the fitness app just pick that up. I have all the permissions for the external app enabled.
I did not contact the app developer. The app seems to reporting the correct data. What is a good way to contact Apple about this? These are images from another day.

If you choose one of the default workout types, are the results shown in the Fitness App without any issues?
