Phone crashing on WIFI but not on mobile data

My iphone 12 mini has started crashing a lot, but only when connected to wifi or occasionally when a bluetooth device is connected. It doesnt crash on cellular data. I think it may be to do with my battery health being on 74%. A software update, storage clearing and a reset did not fix the issue. Will I just need to replace the battery and hope it fixes it?
