How to check if iPad Pro is Compatible with 5G Internet?

I need to know if my ipad pro is compatable with 5G internet wifi connections? Since I swiched to faster internet speeds I cannot get my ipad to connect to the internet service. Could it be surfshark that is interfering or what? I'm so clueless. I really don't want to buy a new ipad if I can help it.
