Family Sharing - very confusing: how do i manage and see devices family sharing

I can't find any place to manage devices in relation to family sharing. I can deauthorize all not knowing what is getting deauthorized. If I deauthorize how would i reauthorize?

I'm not sure how it all works, but my understanding is that I don't have to/can't authorize my wife's ipad and iphone. She has no computer. How does that work?
