Airpods Disconnecting Facetime

Facetime on Macbook stops responding when 3rd Gen Airpods disconnect or die, instead of switching the audio to my Macbook speakers. I have restarted my laptop countless times hoping to fix this issue to no avail. I have restarted my Airpods and reconnected them to resolve the issue to no avail. I have even updated my Macbook to Sonoma 14.5 since the issue started, and I still have the same problem.

Airpods Pro(2nd Gen) and Airpods(3rd Gen) getting disconnected from Facetime So I have a MacBook pro(2022) model , airpods pro(2nd Gen) and airpods(3rd gen). Whenever I am on a facetime call, the airpods gets connected to it easily. But as soon as I disconnect my facetime, my airpods alos gets disconnected and the video starts playing on speakers. Is this a software bug that can be resolved or is there some settings that I need to change ?

Facetime Audio output When I'm calling people on Facetime from my M2 Macbook Air, the audio does not output through my airpods. All other audio output plays to the airpods but the Facetime audio stays playing through the speaker. The volume also will not change when this occurs. The audio coming through the speaker (the Facetime) continues at the volume it was before I connected the device, and changing the volume only affects the audio on the airpods. I was curious if anyone has had a similar issue to this, and if so how they solved it.

Macbook Facetime no mic when using airpods Hi, So recently I got airpods pro 2 and at first the mic worked fine. It works on IPhone and for some reason it doesn't on Mac. What should I do?
