My MacBook Air was siting in powerade

Hi guys this is my first time doing this but my MacBook Air was sitting in powerade for I dont know how long the case was on it and it was fully shut I woke up and my cup some how tipped over and my MacBook was sitting there in the puddle i’ve tried to turn it on it wont come on and it’s making a kind of glitchy noise like it wants to come on I 10000000% believe the juice definitely got inside but will it come back on on its own or will i have to tell my mom that I completely messed up
