How can I fix the error "Data not saved" while making a payment on iTunes?

I keep getting this error data not save when I’m trying to finish the iTunes thing and if that doesn’t happen it says acces something something idk how to fix it since I can’t download until I do it

Try the following:

  • Be sure to activate your card before attempting to add it to Apple Wallet by contacting your bank.
  • Be sure the card has not expired.
  • Be sure to verify all information on the card matches exactly.


Apple Pay Support


If none of those work, then try linking the payment method:


Open Settings ➢ your name at the top of the list ➢ Payment & ShippingAdd Payment Method.


Once the payment method has been added, you should have the option to link it to Apple Pay.

Sorry, your post is not really understandable.


If you are having an issue, you will need to explain in detail what that is.

What error you are getting exactly?

What iTunes thing are you doing?

What is "something something"?


We can't help you if you don't actually explain your issue clearly.


Please explain in full detail what is happening.

i cant download cause i need to sign in to my apple id but everytime i sign in it says this itunes has not been used before and then after than the payment method pops up but when I press submit it keeps saying an error occurred couldn’t save data and if it does get pass that the submit button just doesn’t work

Why not? Mobile phone billing is supported in several countries.
