Fill in passwords on other browsers?

I'm using opera gx (a modified version of Chromium) as my main browser on win11. But as of 25th of June 2024, the Icloud password fill in doesn't work. Why isn't just Chromiom supported and not just Edge and Chrome? or if it is, how do i get it to work?

iCloud passwords extension on Opera GX on Windows So I’m using Opera GX on Windows 11 and I want to use iCloud passwords because that’s where I have all my passwords saved, but the iCloud app only has buttons to install to Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Opera GX is a Chromium based browser so the extension should work perfectly if I just get it linked to iCloud. I also saw that some people using other Chromium browsers like Brave got it working but I don’t know how. Please help me if you have a solution!
