I use a PC keyboard, I want to restart without confirmation, but using eject.menu coreservice does not work

I use a PC keyboard, I want to restart my iMac (Monterey) without confirmation, but using eject.menu from Library/coreservices adds a Media Eject icon in the menu bar... but ...

Control-Command-Media Eject does not work, the menubar "EJECT" triangle just shows pop-down "No Drives"

Any ideas?

I think you are confusing the Media eject menu item with the eject key on a keyboard.

The shutdown without confirmation key combination requires the eject key on the keyboard (available on most Mac keyboards), not the eject menu item.

Since you use a Windows keyboard, it may not have an actual eject key.

You can use the Shutdown option in the Apple menu while holding down the option key and it should shutdown without confirmation.
