Have tried everything and even changed the settings to manually select music yet nothing is working. Please help

If right-click Open With doesn't do anything, it usually means the audio file is corrupt or invalid.
Are your previous files still playing OK?
What is the source of the new music that is having a problem?
Find the file on your desktop. Right-click it and choose Open With > iTunes (or Music). What happens?
Nothing. I have even reinstalled iTunes but still nothing is working
