Find My iPhone, locates family members phone, but not the relative.

Three family members all with iPhones share family sharing. My wife can locate my daughter's phone under the 'Devices' tab, and she can also locate my daughter under the 'People' tab of 'Find my iPhone'. I can locate my daughter's phone under 'Devices' tab but get "No location found" under the 'People' tab. I cannot make sense of this, as both the device location and the person location depend on my daughter's phone. And my wife has no problem so the trouble must be on my devices (My iPad has the same problem locating my daughter.)
