Replacing the abandoned Airport Express

I am attempting to find a WiFi reciever that has an audio out to send a music signal from my Music library in Apple music on my iMac to play on my FReaQN Excellent stereo HiFi sound system. So far I've tried: Belkin SoundForm Connect AirPlay 2 Adapter & Airplay 2 Receiver and WiiM Mini AirPlay2 Wireless Audio Streamer. Nothing works, that I've been able to figure out. The Belkin, I. actually got a human tech support, and he said it was supposed to work, but admitted that the device I had, was not confuguring as intended. The Wiim, after digging deeply, says its not iMac compatible(Apple) but can work with Apple AirPlay...(?) So my question is ..... I there a simple substitute for the Airport Express, that you can play your music through the WiFi reciever to your stereo?!?!?!?
