My apple watch won’t charge or hard restart

My Apple Watch was fully charged when I put it on last night and I woke up to it less than 10% battery this morning. When I placed it on the charger, nothing happened. I’ve tried multiple chargers and multiple outlets but it won’t charge. For over 2 hours the only screen I get is the red lightning and the time displaying. I’ve tried the hard restart by holding down the side button and crown but even after thirty seconds or more of this I don’t ever get the apple logo.
