iPad Pro M4 Nano : provided cleaning cloth is not the same as the Apple Polishing Cloth

The cleaning cloth provided with the IPP M4 13" with nano texture is larger, softer and thinner than the standard Apple Polishing Cloth.


I much prefer it, and it also allows the Magic keyboard to close properly with the cloth inside it - which is not the case with the only polishing cloth Apple sells:

I would like to purchase more of the exaxt same cloth as the one provided with the IPP M4 13".


How should I proceed? Apple Store employees said yea yea it's the same. But it's not.

The polishing cloth compatibility information does say it is also good for the IPP M4, but again, it's not the same one.


So my question is: how can I obtain the same cloth as was provided ?

It’s possible that you can’t purchase another one as it may be exclusive. Much like you can’t buy the black sync cable that comes with the Space Black iPad Pro (unless that has now changed). You can contact Apple directly by calling them to see if it is possible to buy more though. The answer may be no but it will be the most accurate way for you to find out.

Only reason I ended up with a second one is because my iPad was replaced after the screen spontaneously had half of it fail (similar to what you would see if a tv screen had damage from impact only there was no impact to the iPad). After inspecting it they verified that the screen indeed did fail and despite it being past the 14 day return window they went ahead and just gave me another retail iPad versus doing a warranty device (said it would be easier but I suspect it was just too soon to have warranty replacements/refurbished devices on hand). They only took the bad iPad and told me to keep the cable and adapter. So I got to keep those and got the ones in the new iPad box.
