Built-In Keyboard Not Working After Updating to macOS 14.5 (MacBook Air 2019)

I updated to macOS 14.5 two days ago and my internal MacBook Air (2019) has not worked since. The trackpad still works, and I can plug a Magic Keyboard into it via USB C to Lightning connector, but none of the fixes are working that I’ve been able to find online. I remembered (after updating) that the same thing happened when I updated the macOS software in March, but the PRAM fix worked on it right away. This time, nothing is working in terms of the keyboard — it’s not recognising any key presses whatsoever, to the point that the Caps Lock light isn’t even switching on. Please advise, as I really need to get this working again ASAP!
