Why is my flashlight button faded and won’t let me use it

I was trying to turn on my flashlight but it was faded out and would t let me click it, I tried searching up videos to help but nothing would work.

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
  2. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.


Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.
