13 Mini case on 12 Mini

Recently I ordered a 12 Mini, my friend previously had a 13 Mini so I asked them if I could have it to avoid adding another phone case to my collection but I'm not sure if the 13 Mini case will fit on the 12 Mini.

No, you can't use a case made for the iPhone 13 mini on an iPhone 12 mini. They are not the same size.
