How do I play home videos on Apple TV devices

I've recorded a selection on videos on my iPhone, I've edited them on MAC using iMovie. How do I now view that content on one of my Apple TVs? I've seen I can import the videos into the Apple TV app on my Mac, but this doesn't appear to transfer it so that it can be seen on the Apple TV. When I look on the Apple TV I can see commercial purchases in my library, but not my own content.

I don't want to have to stream from iPhone, iPad or MAC - I just want the Apple TV to display the content in the same way it would a photo or video.

I can't use iCloud Photos as it has a limit of 15 minutes and I think it's only 720.

The idea is I want to compile multiple small videos into one film, rather than viewing the individual videos.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Do consider Home Sharing.

Then the Apple TV box can load videos from a network connected computer’s library, into the Computers app (not the TV app) on the Apple TV box. The Computers app will have a separate tab for Home Videos.

Depending on the version macOS on this Mac, the Home Sharing activation may differ a bit. For macOS Catalina or later, the activation is in System Settings/System Preferences. For macOS Mojave or earlier, the activation is in the iTunes application.

Home Sharing activation on a computer requires an Apple ID. That should match the Apple ID for Home Sharing on the Apple TV box in Settings﹥Users and Accounts﹥.

For cloud storage access, you’d add video content to your Photos Library, with iCloud Photo Library enabled. Then access the video through the Photos app on Apple TV. That does limit the duration of videos.

There are third party cloud storage options, which require third party apps, and likely additional subscriptions. I do not have a recommendation for any of those, as Apple Home Sharing suits me fine.

For Apple Home Sharing, the computer has to be on, but it can be in sleep mode when not in use. Accessing the shared Library would wake the computer when needed.
