iPhone 15 Pro USB-C to HDMI Issue
My rural location has no access to the internet other than cell. To participate I must hot spot to my device. To stream I must either use Apple TV or the Apple USB to HDMI adapter. I have to plug this in every time I wish to view video on my TV. Doing this once a day wore out the tiny cable of the adapter. I had to buy a new adapter which is not cheap. This, with a 13 Pro. USB C is the new flavor so I purchased a new USB C HDMI adapter. Of course the 13 was not compatible so with weak logic I purchased an iPhone 15 Pro. I get good signal strength and the required download speed. If everything is working I can watch video on my TV in full resolution. The problem I am trying to address is that the signal drops and the TV returns a no signal. The iPhone still shows that the video is playing but it does not appear on the TV. Disconnecting from the phone and reconnecting the cord to the adapter sometimes works. Or propping up the phone so the cable lays right or left sometimes works. Resetting network setting does not work. Sometimes it works great for a time. I have pondered, Could it be a system upgrade; app not keeping up with the system upgrade. My thought is that the wired connection is flaky, that if the signal drops for just a sec the whole stream stops. On the other hand, I do not get great results with the Apple TV mostly because it has a hard time recognizing that a hot spot is available. Cables are all Apple. Thoughts appreciated.
