Keyboard on my iPhone 12 mini freezes frequently.

Phone model: 12 mini

Software: 17.5.1

Issue: When I’m typing, mid sentence the keyboard freezes up. I can’t do anything but close the app I’m using.

This happens in iMessages, Outlook, WebEx and Gmail and it happened once while typing this message.

I’ve only been able to close whatever app I’m in and then my message is gone and I have to start all over.

It was occasionally happening, but it’s happening more often now. Maybe every 3rd time I’m typing a message.
