Corrupted text copied to clipboard in Notes on Mac Sonoma 14.5

I've had this issue for years now. I just bought a new MacBook Pro 16 inch and finally could update to Sonoma 14.5 - which I assumed would fix the issue but it's still occurring!

Intermittently - like maybe once every few days - when I copy (using command+C or using right click select copy) some nonsense text is copied to the clipboard - which is then pasted when I paste. I'm often just trying to copy and paste text within Notes to shift stuff around and when it's pasted its completely different text - often snippets from nearby text. I use Flycut - and that also shows the corrupted text in the copy list.

It makes Notes unusable. If I quite and restart the App it sorts it out for a while. But I did that once already today and nows its started the corrupted text thing again this evening.

I rang apple care last year and they said "Notes garbage copy and paste is a known issue only way to deal with it is the upgrade to Ventura"!
