Samsung Odyssey 55inch Monitor 120Hz

I recently got the Mac Mini M2, I'm trying to connect my monitor Samsung Odyssey 55inch Monitor. I'm not able to get 120Hz. Does anyone have experiencing using this monitor with the Mac Mini? The monitor keeps going black.

Samsung C27F390 27inch monitor not working I have a Samsung C27F390 27inch monitor and I'm trying to connect it to my MacBook Pro 13 inch, M1, 2020 with macOS Monterey v12.5.1 through a usbc hub via HDMI. When I plug the monitor, it shows a message saying: Not optimal mode. Recommended mode 1920x1080 60Hz. The monitor already has this configuration. External Monitor is stuck at 30hz I just bought a M2 version Macbook Pro today and connect it directly to an external monitor (4K). But the highest refresh rate I can set in setting is only 30hz. I also tried to connect the monitor to the usb-c port with a HDMI to usb-c converter and stuck at 30hz also. Does anyone know how to get a better refresh rate? Thank you! Regards, Naizhong

Macbook not allowing 60hz refresh rate Hi, I am hoping that someone here has the Mac knowledge that I couldn't get when I called apple. I have a late 2015 MacBook pro running Monterey 12.6.2. I recently bought a Samsung M7 4k (specs here) monitor for my work as an editor. I haven't been able to get my Mac to allow this to work at a 60hz refresh rate (which the monitor is capable of), even when I lower the resolution (which I ideally would not have to do) or change from using my HDMI input to using an adaptor to plug into my thunderbolt input. Right now this isn't usable for work because my Mac will only allow it to operate at a 30hz refresh rate, which is too laggy for video. This Mac is able to accommodate up to a 72hz refresh rate, which it used to do with my old hp monitor, which was a much lower resolution. When I called apple for support, they essentially told my my computer was too old. Is this true? Are there fixes to get this new monitor to run a 60hz? I have tried EasyRes with no success so far. The M2 chip model only supports 60Hz from the HDMI port.

The M2 Pro chip model supports higher refresh rates from the HDMI port.
