Apple TV "Up Next" has stopped updating from watched episode to next episode

The Up Next feature has stopped updating existing content on my Apple TV 4K (updated to latest OS). It has completely stopped adding any newly watched content as well.

This is for ALL apps including Apple TV+. After an episode is watched, it does not show the next episode, it just shows the watched episode. If I go into the TV app and "mark episode as watched", the next episode will pop up.

When there is no new episode, the most recently watched episode will remain on the list even after I select "mark episode as watched" multiple times.

The best part of the Apple TV is currently useless. Please help, thank you!
